JUST REACH OUT - domestic violence awareness
Domestic violence is a crime. It is violent, abusive or intimidating behaviour by a family member, carer or a partner to control, dominate or cause fear. It can be physical abuse, emotional, psychological, financial, sexual or other types of abuse. It can affect anyone in the community regardless of gender, sexual identity, race, age, culture, ethnicity, religion, disability, economic status or location.
Metro Assist presents this video in Bangla language with the support from "Can Get Help Canterbury Project', Central and Western Sydney Primary Health Network', 'Sydney Local Health District', 'The University of NSW Centre for Primary Health and Equity' and the 'Department of Social Services' in order to create awareness within Bangla speaking community.
