Tenancy Advice

Free Advice & Assistance for Tenants

Free, confidential tenancy advice providing legal guidance, advocacy, and community education for private and public housing tenants.

Southern Sydney Tenants Advice & Advocacy Service (SSTAAS)

Our program provides free and confidential tenancy advice to help you understand your rights and responsibilities as a tenant. We support private and public housing tenants by offering legal guidance, advocacy, and community education. Whether you need help negotiating with landlords or preparing for Tribunal hearings, we are here to assist you.

How We Can Help You?

  • Speak to your landlord or real estate agent on your behalf.
  • Assist you in preparing for Tribunal hearings.
  • Provide representation at the Tribunal for highly disadvantaged tenants (limited to termination matters or illegal lockouts).
  • Educate you through community sessions on tenancy laws.
